§ 17-1. [Signs on street rights-of-way in city.]

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person advertising a business other than a business owner with a city business license to ercet a sign upon the street rights-of-way inside the City of Chesnee.

    (b)

    Printetd signs on wire frames, posters on power poles, flashing lights signs, or any other type of signs are prohibited.

    (c)

    Political signs are permitted, but must be removed within ten (10) days after the election for which they are running.

    (d)

    Violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of two hundred dollars ($200.00) in the municipal court in the City of Chesnee.
